Pomfret School
to TEB Airport.

Pomfret students fly home for long weekends and breaks; we pick up on campus and coordinate with parents. There's no practical train near Pomfret, so a car is the only simple way to an airport.

The drive to TEB starts west on Route 44 toward I-84 or I-395; after that it's I-84 west to I-287 and the Mario Cuomo Bridge. That's about 133 mi — 2 hr 28 min at the quiet hours, 2 hr 48 min when the Mario Cuomo Bridge is backed up.

Teterboro isn't the nearest airport to Pomfret School — that's HPN, about 1 hr 55 min away — but it's often the one with the right flight. You get one fixed price for Pomfret School to TEB before you book, tolls included.

Flying private from Teterboro means going to an FBO instead of a terminal. Your charter operator or flight department will tell you which; give us the name and the tail number and we'll handle the rest from Pomfret School.

Your chauffeur can drive right to the FBO entrance, so bags go straight from the car to the aircraft crew.

Private flights don't queue for security. Aim to reach the FBO 15–30 minutes before wheels-up — from Pomfret School, a pickup about 3 hr 15 min ahead.

Bridge traffic into New Jersey is the only real variable on a Teterboro run. Tell us the flight number and we'll suggest the pickup time when we confirm.
